Bloomquist Compare is a formal decorative dahlia that shifts gracefully through the season. Early blooms open in soft lilac-pink with a hint of rose toward the center, while later flowers fade to a creamy blush and nearly white, giving this variety a luminous, ever-changing quality. Blooms measure around 5 inches across and are carried on tall, strong stems—ideal for cutting and design work.
The subtle transitions in tone make this variety especially versatile in arrangements, pairing beautifully with whites, mauves, silvers, or pale peach tones. In the garden, Bloomquist Compare is elegant and reliable, producing consistent stems and blooms on upright, well-structured plants about 4 to 4.5 feet tall.
