Scaur Swinton

Scaur Swinton is a commanding formal decorative dahlia celebrated for its rich salmon blooms that bring depth and warmth to the field. The impressive 8-inch flowers are fully double and beautifully structured, with tightly arranged petals forming a refined, symmetrical silhouette. The colour fills an important niche a true, saturated salmon that is neither too pink nor too orange making it exceptionally valuable in design work.

Plants grow to approximately 4_ feet in height and produce strong stems capable of supporting these substantial blooms. With proper support, Scaur Swinton performs reliably as a statement variety in cutting gardens and production plantings alike. Its bloom size makes it ideal for focal work in large-scale bouquets and event arrangements.

Its salmon tones pair beautifully with blush, coral, soft peach, champagne, creamy ivory, terracotta, muted plum, and sunset-inspired palettes. It integrates seamlessly into romantic wedding designs while also holding its own in bold, late-summer arrangements.

Originating from England, this variety is a standout for growers seeking both size and refined form in a sought-after colour range.
