Wyn's Farmer walt

Wyn's Farmer Walt is a commanding semi-cactus dahlia introduced in 2023 to honor Walt Wynne, founder of Wynne's Dahlias (US). This variety delivers massive, dinnerplate-sized blooms in a saturated amber-orange tone that glows with warmth and intensity.

The flowers exceed 9 inches across and feature elongated petals with gentle curls and tapered tips, creating texture, movement, and dramatic presence. The semi-cactus form gives the bloom a slightly sculptural quality while maintaining strong structural integrity.

Plants reach 4 to 5 feet in height and produce sturdy stems capable of supporting these substantial blooms. Vigorous growth and consistent bloom production make Wyn's Farmer Walt an excellent performer in cutting gardens, show gardens, and large-scale landscape plantings.

Its brilliant amber-orange colouring pairs beautifully with burgundy, deep plum, burnt sienna, creamy ivory, muted peach, and bold autumn palettes. Ideal for statement bouquets, competition entries, and high-impact garden displays.
