One of the most spectacular tomatoes you can grow, Brad’s Atomic Grape produces elongated, grape-sized to small plum-sized fruits in incredible shades of lavender, purple, green, red, orange and brown. The colours develop and intensify as the fruit ripens, creating a beautiful, almost painted appearance.
The fruits grow in generous clusters and are exceptionally sweet, making them perfect for snacking straight from the garden. They are also delicious in salads, on charcuterie boards, or roasted and dried. The fruits are crack-resistant and hold well both on and off the vine.
The plant has delicate-looking, wispy foliage, but don’t let its appearance fool you. It is a productive, vigorous indeterminate variety that will continue producing over a long season with proper support.
Fruit: Elongated grape to small plum-sized fruit with striking multicoloured stripes
Growth: Indeterminate, vigorous vining plant
Best for: Fresh eating, snacking, salads, roasting and drying
Container friendly: Yes, but use a large container with sturdy support
Support: Cage, stake or trellis recommended
Days to maturity: Approximately 75–80 days from transplant
Why we love it: Incredible colour, exceptionally sweet flavour and heavy production
Sold as a healthy starter plant, ready to transplant into your garden or container.
