Amethyst Fire is a dark, ornamental Capsicum chinense pepper with finger-shaped pods that ripen from purplish green to peach, streaked with purple and black. The flavour is sweet and floral with a hint of blueberry, backed by strong heat.

Plants are very productive, carrying up to about 100 peppers each, with dark green foliage, purple stems and white flowers. Amethyst Fire was developed by Mike’s Pepper Seeds from a Black Peach Biquinho crossed with an unknown pepper; it is still an unstable cross (F4), so fruit shape and colour may vary from plant to plant.

Grown With Care

Our starter plants are grown without chemical pesticides and gradually hardened for outdoor growing, ensuring strong, healthy plants ready for transplanting once temperatures are consistently warm.

Well suited for: pepper collectors, hot sauce makers, and gardeners looking for a striking dark plant with flavourful, fruity heat.
