Rolled, cupped petals stack into a rounded ball that glows apricot and butter yellow, with rosy pink brushing the tips. The pink deepens toward one side of the bloom, so each flower looks a little like a ripe peach catching the light. Fine pink veining runs through the petals and adds soft detail up close.
Ball dahlias in this style hold their shape well in a vase and suit jars, bud vases and mixed bouquets. The warm peach and pink palette sits nicely beside cream, rust and soft coral flowers late in the season.
