A La Mode is a warm, soft orange decorative dahlia edged cleanly in white, creating a gentle contrast that gives the bloom depth without harsh colour breaks. The petals are smooth and evenly layered, forming a full, rounded flower with a polished, classic appearance.
The colouring is subtle and balanced rather than bold, a true soft orange base softened by crisp white edges. This makes A La Mode extremely versatile in the garden and in floral design, blending easily with peaches, creams, blush tones, and warm neutrals.
This variety is known for its exceptional reliability. A La Mode is a strong tuber producer, an excellent cut flower, and a consistently dependable garden performer. It has been grown by The Dahlia Barn since their earliest seasons, a testament to its productivity, vigour, and overall quality.
