Cecil

Small, round and a deep rose pink, Cecil is the kind of dahlia that quietly earns its place. The miniature formal decorative blooms are neatly layered and well finished, and the colour is a saturated pink that sits between rose and raspberry without ever looking harsh. It photographs true to life, which is more than can be said for many pinks.

Compact flowers mean plenty of them, and the stems are the right length for bouquets, buckets and market bunches. Pair it with blush, white and soft lavender for a classic look, or lean into it with coral and magenta for something bolder. It has become a staple with small flower farms across North America, which tells you something about how reliably it performs.
