Clearview Debbie is a formal decorative with a twist, literally. The petals are sharply pointed and reflex back toward the stem, giving each four to six inch bloom a crisp, starry outline. The colour is a soft lavender that deepens to purple along every petal edge, so the flower looks finely drawn rather than flat, and it holds that definition as it ages.
Plants stay on the compact side, roughly three feet, which makes this one easy to tuck into a border or a raised bed without staking worries. It blooms steadily through the season and the cool lavender tones work beautifully with whites, blushes and deeper plums. Growers who like a clean, sculptural flower for bouquets will find it an easy variety to love.
