Cornel

Cornel is a classic miniature ball dahlia known for its perfectly formed blooms, saturated colour, and exceptional productivity. The 3 to 3.5 inch flowers are tightly packed and uniformly rounded, creating a flawless, geometric shape prized by floral designers.

The colouring is a rich, true red that holds beautifully even in full summer sun, maintaining its intensity without shifting toward orange or blue tones. This consistency makes it especially reliable for both bright and moody floral palettes.

Growing approximately 4 feet tall, Cornel produces long, strong stems and blooms abundantly throughout the season. It is a dependable workhorse in the cutting garden, valued for its excellent vase life, transport durability, and consistent performance.
