Soft butter yellow at the heart melts into cream toward the petal tips, a gentle light blend that feels calm and sunny at once. The broad petals roll lightly along their edges into a semi-cactus form with a full, generous face. Large blooms, around six to eight inches, give it real presence. It is a pale colour with plenty of warmth.
This variety is linked to Tony Evangelista, a well known Ohio exhibitor and American Dahlia Society board member, and carries his family name. A bloom of this size makes a natural focal flower in a vase or a show bench entry. Its soft colouring pairs easily with white, peach and pale pink. Give it rich soil, steady water and a sturdy stake to support the big heads.
