Mr. Optimist

Mr. Optimist is a vibrant BB informal decorative dahlia bursting with flame-blend colour. The 4-inch blooms open in bright, saturated red petals tipped in glowing yellow, creating a dynamic, fiery effect. The colour contrast radiates from the petal edges inward, giving each flower movement and energy while maintaining a relaxed informal decorative form.

Plants grow to approximately 4.5 feet in height and produce sturdy stems that support consistent bloom production. The balanced bloom size and strong stems make Mr. Optimist a reliable performer in both cutting gardens and bold landscape plantings.

Its red and yellow flame tones pair beautifully with coral, peach, warm gold, deep burgundy, and contrasting creamy neutrals. It adds warmth, brightness, and playful contrast to bouquets and summer borders alike.
