Musette

Musette is a charming heirloom variety, introduced in 1954 and treasured for its lively bicolour blooms and compact, garden-friendly habit. Each petite flower opens in a vibrant cherry red, accented with crisp white tipping that varies slightly from bloom to bloom, creating a playful, dynamic display across the plant.

The blooms are neatly formed with a classic formal decorative structure, offering a polished look in a smaller scale. Despite its compact size, Musette is highly floriferous, producing a steady succession of blooms throughout the season. Its naturally shorter stature makes it especially well suited to containers, borders, and front-of-bed plantings, where it delivers bright colour and strong visual interest without overwhelming surrounding plants.
