Huge white cactus blooms, often more than ten inches across, make this one of the showpieces of the dahlia world. Narrow, rolled petals radiate outward in a crisp starburst. The clean white colour keeps such a large flower looking fresh rather than heavy.
Expect a tall, vigorous plant of about four and a half to five feet with strong stems built to carry its big heads. A single bloom can serve as the centrepiece of an arrangement, and it is a natural choice for anyone interested in showing giant dahlias. Give it full sun, a sturdy stake and room to spread.
