Fiery coral red petals carry fine streaks of golden yellow, so each bloom seems to glow from within. The pointed, partly rolled petals give it a lively semi-cactus outline. It belongs to the Allen's family of dahlias, a series known for bold colour.
Little has been published about this variety, so plan on treating it like a typical semi-cactus dahlia: full sun, rich soil and a sturdy stake. Its warm tones sit well beside orange zinnias, bronze grasses and deep burgundy foliage. It suits gardeners who like bright, cheerful colour in late summer.
