Soft and romantic, El Paso opens cream with a lilac pink wash over the petals and a touch of lemon at the centre. The colour deepens as each flower matures, so a single plant carries a gentle range of tones at once. Fully double decorative blooms run about four to six inches across.
Plants grow roughly two to three feet tall and flower from midsummer until frost in full sun. The pastel palette blends easily with blush, lavender and white flowers, and it brings a light touch to mixed bouquets. It is a good fit for mid border plantings and for anyone who prefers soft colour over bold.
