Raspberry tones wash across the petals of Bloomquist Awaken before melting into a warm golden centre. Triple Wren Farms describes the colour as a muddy raspberry ombre, and that dusky, blended quality is what makes it stand out. The semi-cactus petals roll partway along their length, giving the bloom a lively, slightly spiky outline.
This variety comes from Paul Bloomquist of Lynden, Washington, and is offered through Triple Wren's Legacy Collection. Plants reach roughly three to five feet, with blooms in a handy mid size for bouquets. The raspberry and gold blend works well beside burgundy, peach and apricot flowers.
