Little Gem carries the CB hybridizer prefix, which marks it as a named seedling from a specific breeder rather than a mass market variety. Published details on its colour and form were not available at the time of writing.
Like most breeder introductions, it is grown in small numbers and tends to circulate among dedicated dahlia growers. It is a good pick for collectors who enjoy seeking out lesser known names.
