Pink and purple blend together in the blooms of Dorothy Rose, giving them a deep, rosy richness. The formal decorative petals lie flat and even, building a neat, rounded flower. Blooms land in the four to six inch range, a comfortable size for cutting.
Plants grow to about four feet and are well suited to bouquet work. The rosy purple tones pair well with burgundy, mauve and soft pink, or with silver foliage for contrast. In some catalogues this variety appears as JS Dorothy Rose.
