Florelie Flamingo comes from Florelie Dahlias, a breeding garden in Victoria, Australia. The Florelie name has become familiar to growers looking for fresh Australian introductions. Published details on this particular variety are limited.
As with other dahlias, plant it in full sun with rich, well drained soil and steady summer water. Florelie introductions are still relatively uncommon in North American gardens. It is a good pick for growers who like to add new Australian breeding to their collection.
