Creamy white petals open around a heart brushed with soft blush pink, giving each bloom a gentle, glowing look. The full decorative form is layered and generous, with broad petals that curl slightly near the centre. Blooms measure roughly five and a half to six inches across.
Plants grow to about four feet with glossy green leaves and flower from early summer until frost. Florists favour it for summer weddings, and it is easy to see why in a bouquet with garden roses, sweet peas or soft greenery. Give it a spot toward the back of the border, where the pale blooms show up beautifully at dusk.
