Rows of cupped, rolled petals build a tidy coral pink ball with a small golden eye. The colour is warm and clear, sitting somewhere between salmon and rose. It comes from the Hapet line bred by Peter Haslhofer in Austria, a series prized by cut flower growers.
Published details on this newer variety are limited, but ball dahlias in general hold up well in the vase and bloom freely when cut often. Its compact, rounded flowers add structure to mixed bunches. Try it with dusty blue foliage or cream flowers for a soft contrast.
