Cherry red petals tipped in white give this bloom a frosted, festive look that suits its holiday name. The petals are long and pointed, arranged in loose, layered rows around a tightly cupped centre. It is a bright, crisp flower that stands out clearly against green foliage.
It comes from the Hollyhill line of dahlias from Oregon. The clean red and white colouring is lovely in late summer bouquets and carries on well into autumn arrangements. Pair it with white dahlias, silvery foliage or deep burgundy blooms.
