Hy Whitewings is a charming collarette dahlia featuring petite white blooms set against dramatic dark foliage. The approximately 2-inch flowers showcase a delicate outer ring of crisp white petals surrounding a contrasting inner collar and golden centre, creating a bright, eye-catching effect against the plant’s deep leaves. Plants grow to approximately 3 feet tall and are notably floriferous throughout the season.
This variety is especially attractive in garden plantings where foliage contrast matters. The combination of dark leaves and clean white blooms makes Hy Whitewings an excellent addition to mixed borders, patio plantings, and collarette collections. Its smaller bloom size and steady production also make it useful for light, airy bouquet work and pollinator-friendly gardens.
