Pale lemon petals roll into neat little cups and spiral into a near perfect sphere, giving this miniature ball a soft, moonlit glow. Each bloom measures about 3 in across, small enough to tuck into any arrangement yet tidy enough to stand on its own. Bred by Steve and Sandy Boley of Birch Bay Dahlias, it earned the Derrill W. Hart medal in 2024.
Plants reach about 3 to 4 ft and send up long, straight stems that hold each ball upright. The gentle yellow blends with almost any palette, from whites and creams to apricot, blush and lavender. Florists and home arrangers alike will find it endlessly useful in bud vases, bouquets and wedding work.
