Lady Darlene is a dramatic large-flowered dahlia featuring spectacular blooms in warm butter-yellow accented with bold ruby-red petal tips. The generous 8-10 inch flowers create a striking contrast of colour that immediately draws the eye in both the garden and floral arrangements.
The petals layer into a lush, full bloom with softly relaxed structure, giving the flowers impressive presence while maintaining natural movement. The vibrant yellow base paired with deep red tipping creates a glowing effect that intensifies in bright summer light.
Growing approximately 3-4 feet tall, Lady Darlene produces sturdy stems capable of supporting its substantial blooms and flowers reliably from mid-summer until frost. Its dramatic size and vivid colouring make it an exceptional focal flower for cutting gardens and oversized bouquet work.
