Petals in a clear orchid pink, shading toward lavender, open into a full, generous decorative bloom. The outer rows lie wide and slightly twisted while the centre stays a deeper, richer tone. It reads as bright and cheerful rather than moody, despite the name.
Published details on this Northwind variety are scarce, so height and habit are not confirmed. The vivid pink and lavender tones pair well with burgundy, white and soft blue garden flowers. It suits gardeners who want a bold splash of cool pink in the border or the vase.
