Lavender petals curl inward toward the centre on this incurved cactus dahlia, creating a spidery, swirling bloom. The quills give it real movement and a crisp, show ready look. Flowers measure about 4 to 6 inches across.
Plants grow roughly 4 to 5 feet and are reported to be heat tolerant, with a good yield of tubers. The blooms cut well and add texture to arrangements built around purples, pinks and silver foliage. It is also grown for exhibition. A fine pick for anyone who loves an unusual form in a soft colour.
