Rip City is an informal decorative dahlia with velvety, deep plum blooms that read almost black in some light. The 5 to 6 inch flowers are richly saturated, with layered petals that create a full, sculptural shape against dark green foliage.
Plants grow about 3 to 4 feet tall and are known for producing plenty of blooms on sturdy stems, with excellent vase life. The dark tones pair beautifully with blush, antique cream, soft peach and caramel, and add drama to both summer and autumn designs.
