Salmon pink petals shimmer with fine apricot veining, deepening to a rosy coral at the tightly cupped centre. The bloom is full and generous, with broad petals that twist and curl slightly for a relaxed, informal decorative shape. In soft light it glows like a summer peach. It is a warm, romantic colour with a lot of depth.
This is one of the newer releases from River's Dahlias in Oregon, bred by Eugene Kenyon, and is still uncommon. Its colour sits beautifully between peach and pink, so it bridges both palettes in a vase. Pair it with cream, apricot and dusty mauve for a soft, layered look. A lovely pick for collectors who like to grow something a little rarer.
