River's Cherry Bomb

River’s Cherry Bomb is a BB-FD-RD (Small, Formal Decorative, Red) dahlia introduced in 2023 by E. Kenyon of River’s WB Dahlias (USA). The 4-6 inch blooms are a rich, deep cherry-red with exceptional colour saturation that holds beautifully without fading. The layered petals form a precise, orb-like silhouette typical of high-quality formal decorative varieties.

This cultivar combines structure with performance. Plants grow to approximately 3.5 feet in height and are highly productive, producing long, strong stems ideal for cutting. River’s Cherry Bomb is regarded as a show-quality red, delivering consistent form, vibrant colour retention, and excellent vase life.

Its deep cherry tone pairs effortlessly with antique cream, blush, soft peach, muted plum, and near-black varieties. It anchors romantic palettes while offering the clean clarity required for exhibition and professional floral work.
