River’s Tipsy is a striking decorative dahlia bred by River’s WB Dahlias (USA), admired for its saturated purple blooms accented with delicate white-tipped petals. The 4-6 inch flowers display subtle variegation, adding dimension and movement while maintaining a polished, layered form.
This variety grows vigorously, reaching approximately 5 feet in height. Long, sturdy stems make River’s Tipsy especially valuable for cutting, producing elegant blooms that hold beautifully in arrangements throughout the season. Its colour depth and height give it strong presence in both garden beds and bouquet work.
The rich purple tones pair effortlessly with blush, antique cream, muted plum, soft peach, and deep burgundy shades. The light white tips add brightness, making it easy to integrate into both romantic and dramatic palettes.
