Taboo

Taboo is a bold informal decorative dahlia celebrated for its saturated purple blooms and dramatic presence in the garden. The 4-inch flowers are richly layered, with slightly irregular, gently twisting petals that create movement and texture. The deep purple colouring carries intensity and depth, making it a striking focal bloom in both garden beds and arrangements.

Plants grow to approximately 5 feet in height, producing tall, sturdy stems that elevate the blooms beautifully above lush foliage. Its strong growth habit and reliable production make Taboo an excellent choice for cutting gardens and statement plantings.

Its vibrant purple tones pair beautifully with blush, creamy ivory, dusty rose, muted plum, soft peach, and jewel-toned palettes. It integrates seamlessly into dramatic bouquet designs, romantic wedding work, and high-contrast late-summer arrangements.
