Broad rose pink petals are dusted with fine crimson streaks and flecks, as if each one had been touched with a fine brush. Now and then a single petal turns solid red, and the centre deepens to a rich magenta. The loose, informal decorative form gives it a relaxed, painterly look.
Speckled pinks like this one bring movement to a bouquet and sit happily beside burgundy, blush or soft coral. It suits gardeners who enjoy a bloom with a little personality.
