Bright yellow petals split and fringe at their tips, giving these laciniated blooms a lively, feathery texture. Flowers open to about six inches across, full and frilled from centre to edge. It has a strong record on the show bench, with more than thirty ribbons and medals at American Dahlia Society shows.
Plants stay fairly compact at three to three and a half feet, a handy height for the middle of a bed. Jean Heeringa of Whatcom County, Washington, bred it in 2004 as part of her Vista series. A sunny laciniated bloom adds texture to bouquets and pairs well with deep purple, burgundy or crisp white.
