Soft lemon at the heart washes out to creamy white at the tips, giving these large informal decorative blooms a gentle, glowing look. Flowers reach six to eight inches, with broad, loosely arranged petals that curl and twist slightly as they open. The overall effect is light and romantic rather than bold.
Plants grow big and tall with strong stems, so give them room and a sturdy stake. Pale yellow this soft pairs beautifully with white, peach and blush, and it is a favourite for wedding work. Cut when the blooms are about three quarters open, since they do not open much further in the vase.
