Rows of neatly cupped petals spiral into a rounded ball, glowing tangerine at the heart and fading to buttery yellow at the edges. The effect is warm and sunny, like a ripe apricot held up to the light. It is a cheerful, orderly bloom with plenty of presence for its size.
Ball dahlias like this one hold their shape well and suit jars, bud vases and autumn bouquets. Pair it with bronze foliage or rusty tones for a cosy late season look.
