Worton Blue Streak

Worton Blue Streak is a distinctive lavender-blue dahlia valued for its early bloom time and strong cutting performance. The 4-inch semi-cactus (SC) blooms feature slightly pointed, gently rolled petals that give the flower texture and subtle movement. The cool-toned lavender-blue colouring is uncommon in dahlias, making this variety especially useful for cooler palettes and contrast work.

Plants grow to approximately 4 feet in height and begin blooming early in the season, providing usable stems ahead of many mid-season varieties. Reliable and productive, Worton Blue Streak is a practical choice for growers looking to extend their early cutting window.

Its unique cool hue pairs beautifully with blush, dusty rose, creamy ivory, soft peach, muted plum, and silver-toned foliage. Particularly effective in ’cool’ market bouquets and transitional late-summer arrangements.
