Zingaro

Zingaro is a compact waterlily dahlia valued for its intricate colour transitions and high bloom production. The 4-inch flowers open yellow at the core, blend into dusty rose, and finish with burgundy-tipped petals, creating depth and subtle contrast within a single bloom.

Plants reach approximately 3 feet in height and are exceptionally floriferous. Though petite in stature, Zingaro produces abundant blooms on sturdy stems measuring roughly 12-16 inches ideal for bouquet work and detailed floral design. A firm pinch at about 8 inches tall encourages significant branching and increased stem production.

When planted closely at approximately 10 inches apart, the plants form a low, flower-covered hedge effect, making this variety equally useful for productive cutting rows and structured garden borders.

Its multi-tonal colouring pairs beautifully with soft peach, muted plum, blush, creamy ivory, terracotta, and transitional summer-to-autumn palettes.
