Zwink

Buttery cream at the heart gives way to petals dipped in lavender pink at their tips, a two tone effect that looks almost hand painted. The narrow, quilled petals twist and flare in every direction, giving the bloom a playful, spiky silhouette. It is classed as a fully double novelty, and it certainly stands apart. Up close, fine pink veining adds even more detail.

A bloom with this much movement brings energy to bouquets built on rounder shapes. Pair it with soft yellow, lilac and blush for a pastel mix, or with peach for warmth. It suits gardeners who enjoy something unusual in the cutting patch. Pollinators visit it readily, too.
