A cushion of creamy yellow florets sits at the heart of each bloom, ringed by white petals touched with a faint lavender blush. This is a true anemone form, with that raised pincushion centre giving the flowers real texture. Blooms reach about 4 inches across. It was bred by Paul Bloomquist of Lynden, Washington, and introduced in 2022.
Plants grow to 4 feet or more, giving plenty of stem for cutting. For the best vase life, cut before the centre florets open and shed pollen, which gives about three to four days in water. It shines as an event flower, where its soft colouring and unusual centre draw a closer look. Try it with blush, pale lilac and silvery foliage.
