Warm peachy bronze petals carry a rose red shimmer on their backs, so each ball glows with a hint of pink as the cups turn. The blooms are tidy, rounded balls with neatly curled petals. It comes from Ferncliff Gardens in British Columbia, where it was named for a daughter who loved the colour.
Plants reach roughly 4 feet, a touch taller than Ferncliff Rusty. Ball dahlias hold up well in the vase, and this one brings an autumn warmth to mixed arrangements. Pair it with burgundy, rust and cream for a rich, harvest toned bouquet. It is a lovely pick for anyone building a collection of ball forms.
