Every petal on this Hollyhill dahlia holds more than one colour. Rose pink tips melt into peach and gold at the base, and the centre turns a cool lavender. The informal decorative form lets the broad petals twist and wave a little, which shows off the blend.
Blended colours like this bridge pinks and oranges in a bouquet, so it is a handy flower for designers. Pair it with coral, apricot and plum for a rich mix. It is a good pick for anyone who enjoys a bloom that changes character up close.
