Saturated magenta pink petals stack into a full, double bloom, with a plum flush deepening towards the heart and on the petal backs. Around four inches across, the flowers are sized for steady use rather than show. Against dark foliage the colour practically glows.
Plants stay fairly compact and bushy with handsome bronze green leaves and dark stems, which makes this one as useful in borders and large patio pots as in a picking bed. It performed well in recent RHS Wisley trials and flowers over a long season. Try it with lime green foliage, deep burgundy or soft blush flowers for contrast.
