Billed as the first yellow introduction in the KA's® line, Apricot Kiss pairs clear, sunny petals with the softest apricot blush at the centre. The blooms are small formal decoratives of about three and a half inches, perfectly symmetrical and neatly layered. Colour moves smoothly from the petal edges inward, so the flower glows rather than shouts.
The plants are sturdy and reach roughly four and a half to five feet, so a stake or corral helps late in summer. Its compact flower size is ideal for floral work, from bud vases to wedding bouquets, where a larger bloom would crowd the design. Try it with cream, peach and soft coral dahlias, or with blue and lavender annuals for contrast. A fine choice for cutting gardens and for growers who want a gentle yellow.
