Blind Melon is classed as a miniature formal decorative in dark pink, so expect small, neatly layered blooms with orderly petals. It carries the KH prefix of Kennedy Hill. Still a newer name, it has only a small presence in published listings so far.
Miniature decoratives are handy in the vase, where their compact heads tuck easily into posies and mixed bunches. A deep pink like this sits well beside blush, burgundy and soft green. It suits growers who like to try fresh introductions alongside proven favourites.
