Lee's Sugaree

Lee’s Sugaree is a luminous informal decorative dahlia known for its warm, glowing tones and graceful petal movement. The 5-inch blooms open in rich yellow infused with apricot and peach-gold undertones, creating a radiant, sunlit effect. Gently relaxed petals give the flowers a soft, natural fullness while maintaining a refined silhouette.

Plants grow tall and vigorous, reaching approximately 4-5 feet in height. Strong stems support the blooms well, making this variety an excellent performer for cutting production. Reliable and eye-catching in the field, Lee’s Sugaree provides steady harvests throughout the season.

Its golden-apricot colouring pairs beautifully with blush, terracotta, soft coral, warm cream, muted mauve, and autumnal palettes. It adds warmth and dimension to bouquets while remaining elegant and versatile.
