Mary Lou

Mary Lou is a radiant decorative dahlia showcasing rich golden-yellow blooms that capture the warmth of summer sunshine. The 6-inch flowers open in bright, freshly painted yellow tones, often accented with lighter streaks of soft yellow and occasional hints of white. The layered petals create fullness and movement, giving each bloom a luminous, cheerful presence.

Plants grow tall and vigorous, reaching approximately 4.5 feet in height. With strong stems and abundant bloom production, Mary Lou performs reliably in both garden beds and cutting rows. Its early bloom time provides welcome colour at the start of the dahlia season.

The glowing golden tones pair beautifully with peach, coral, blush, soft cream, terracotta, and vibrant summer palettes. Mary Lou adds brightness and warmth to arrangements while maintaining classic decorative form.
