RF Mira is listed as a miniature formal decorative dahlia in purple. Formal decoratives are built from neat, evenly spaced petals that lay back in tidy rows, so even small blooms read as crisp and finished. Published details on this newer name are still limited.
Miniature blooms like these are handy for posies, small arrangements and mixed bouquets where a big flower would crowd the jar. A sunny spot, steady watering and regular cutting are the usual keys to a long season from a formal decorative.
