River's Here Kitty Kitty

River’s Here Kitty Kitty is a distinctive novelty double dahlia bred by River’s WB Dahlias (USA), admired for its uniquely rolled, ’giraffe-style’ petal form. The 4-inch blooms feature tightly layered petals with sculptural movement, creating a textured, dimensional flower that stands out immediately in both garden and vase.

This variety is notably prolific. Plants reach approximately 3 feet in height and produce abundant blooms throughout the season. Its strong stems and consistent flowering make it a valuable addition to cutting gardens, particularly for designers seeking unusual form and visual interest.

The colouring (typically rich red tones with depth) pairs beautifully with antique cream, blush, muted plum, warm peach, and near-black varieties. It adds structure and personality to mixed arrangements while maintaining a polished silhouette.
